About me… Such a simple, yet such a loaded question.
I introduce myself as Caitlin. I say I am a student, in my third year of law and journalism and on an exchange in the UK. I like to read, write. I love my family, live music, friends. I believe everyone should feel safe and have the opportunity to be happy.
Those are the things I say to people I meet… but what is there actually to say about me?
I guess what I should say here, is why I started this blog. I started, not because I profess to have any more knowledge of life than anyone else (I probably have even less than most), but because I believe in the power of sharing experiences. The sharing of experiences is how we learn and grow, and what makes us human.
I hope that sharing my experiences in some way effects whoever reads my words.
“Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn.” – C.S. Lewis
So inspiring Caitlin! I wasn’t even aware of The Ghan until I spoke to you the other night, now I’m dying to jump on board The Ghan & The Indian-Pacific!
sup Caitlin,
nice blog and keep up the good work!
Another quote I’ve always like in a similar vein;
“repetition is the mother of skill” and from an ancient Samurai;
“Do nothing that is of no use”
Basically the point I’m trying to make is that you’re pretty much a modern day Samurai x
